Less Than 250km and All These Adventures

Sigh, so I suppose when you have your beloved rusting to shit all winter, you should expect to give'r some TLC come the springtime. And considering I know nothing about bikes, this involves me relying on favours from people (by the way, I still owe em a couple back). The adventures thus far. We had to get by bike boosted to take it to my friend Lyles place (just a couple blocks - but on shady roads full of gravel, with it having sat outside for too many months, and with my helmet being so scratched I couldn't see out of it). Lyle took some time, bought her some stuff, and had her oil changed, new spark plugs and all shined up! Wicked - ROADTRIP! I rode'r to Canmore, did me a hike, and came back home. She died at the gas station :( Sat there for 2 days :( So... her batteries a little dead.... Ordering a new battery... blah blah blah... Waiting for it to come it, blah blah blah, replacing it, yadda yadda, then - standing outside of my house with my helmet and some booster cables seeing what kinda nice soul wanted to let me go for a lift! But my baby's got juice, and so I rode out to Bragg Creek. Nice ride, little bit'a'rain... Came back home - no license plate. Sigh, of course it would be the long weekend and I'm not brave enough to ride without a plate. I waited a few days and got me a new one - came home to put'er on - bikes been towed. This long and boring story goes on for a while. Guess love take a lot of work - we shall see the tough times through.

A Cold & Lonely Winter Without You.

Hello Beautiful! The last time we spent any time together, I came back from a hot vacation. I put on every piece of clothing I had, 2 pairs of gloves and my dufus-looking helmet, and decided to take you home. I was going to put you into hibernation throughout Alberta's stupid never-ending winter, with happy thoughts of more adventures ahead. But we never made it home. That black ice on top of that hill before those street lights threw us both us, but with scrapes and bruises only. You understand why I just couldn't look at you all winter. I shunned you to the cold and didn't think twice about the rust to your body or what it would do you your insides. But I tell you, every time I saw a pile of snow atop you, it broke my heart. But winter snow's turned into spring-time rain, and we are back together. My partner in crime. You and I. I've missed you, beautiful!
